What happens to the details you send us through this website, in plain English.
Who we are
Frankies Taxis has three offices in Devon: Exeter, Newton Abbot and Tiverton. The office you contact looks after the details you send it.
What we collect on this website
Only what you type into our forms. An enquiry: your name, phone, email and message. A business account application: your company, name, contact details, nearest office and what you need. A driver application: your name, age, contact details, nearest office, your taxi and driving licences, your car and the hours you want. We do not ask about penalty points or convictions online.
Why
To answer your enquiry, to set up a business account you asked for, or to consider your driver application. We never sell your details or use them for marketing.
Who handles it for us
Netlify, a company based in the United States, hosts this website and receives the forms; it uses other services to filter out spam and to email the office. Your office reads your message in its email inbox. The booking pages for Exeter and Newton Abbot show Autocab’s booking form, our dispatch system, which has its own privacy and cookie choices.
How long we keep it
6 months, then we delete it. If you become an account customer or one of our drivers, we keep what we need while you are, plus what the law asks of us (for example invoices).
Cookies
Our own pages set no cookies and do no tracking. Autocab’s booking form sets its own.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them. Call or email your office (below). If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
